Contamination of plastic has become an extremely alarming issue all around the world. Myself and many others would like to see a major reduction in plastics and their contamination. Along with making sure to recycle and minimize the utilization of plastics every day, I can contribute a big part of spreading awareness around the state of Montana , Where I live .
The state of Montana is not located next to the ocean or sea , so many people do not feel as if they are directly as affected by the plastic contamination in the oceans.
However, Montana has a lot of rivers, which has an effect, and the people need to have more awareness about this issue and the effects. My plan is to spread awareness around Montana to reduce and recycle plastics by using my platform as a well- known athlete and starting various recycling initiatives around the state
